what we do
What is waste recovery?
Waste recovery is a process that makes use of waste as a valuable resource in the creation of new products, thus extending its life cycle. The aim is to create a culture of organic waste separation at source, thereby collecting quality organic waste for the production of renewable energy, and reducing the need for landfill space.
Who can benefit from it and how?
- Environmentally: it creates alternative forms of energy and reduces landfill space.
- Economically: Companies can reduce the cost of purchasing new raw materials, when they adapt to the circular business model.
- Socially: waste recovery can create jobs, according to SABIA, feasible in the next 5 years is 30177 permanent jobs and 141455 construction jobs.
