We are here to help you be part of the solution
By engaging our services you are contributing to the preservation of our planet.
what we do
What is production?
Through waste valorisation, the recovered and sorted organic waste is made more useful in products such compost, nutrient rich soil fertilizers, and biogas. Transforming waste into low-carbon footprint combustible gases, using waste-to-energy technologies (WtE), not only reduces the waste that ends up in the landfill, but also has a positive impact on the environment.
Who can benefit from it and how?
- It reduces the use of landfill space.
- It prevents the contamination of other recyclable waste streams.
- It limits the extraction of new resources.
- It helps to raise awareness of resource efficiency behaviours that drive good stewardship.
What does our production process include:
Together with our industry experts OWE adds value by:
- Assessing your Feedstock for proposed compost solutions and biogas projects
- Conducting feasibility and viability of projects
- Constructing modular biogas plants onsite or off site
- Operations & Maintenance of plants
- Evaluation & feedback
- Stakeholder Engagements
This activity will enable OWE to conduct a status core analysis that is aligned to your needs and to provide youwith an implementation strategy
This will help OWE to determine the following:
- Quantities/volumes of WasteStorage of Waste
- Current equipment and tools being used
- Frequency of waste collection
- Alternative solutions for landfill diversion are proposed such as composting & WtE technologies
- Costing of the job based on the site assessments and solutions proposed to address needs analysis.
- Signing of contract
After contract has been signed the following will take place:
- Team assignment – team aligned to the success of the project i.e.
- Supervisors and general workers will be placed in accordance with the needs analysis.
- On-site sorters(to be determined from on-site assessment)
- Supplying of waste containers (to be determined from on-site assessment)
- Equipment hire (to be determined from on-site assessment)
- Tools and safety clothing (to be determined from site assessment)
- Types of vehicles required (to be determined from site assessment)
Issuing of disposal certificates once delivery has taken place at safe treatment facilities.
The benefits
Companies become part of the solution, when they use their waste as a resource to produce energy or compost.
Companies appreciate the positive impact of the use of their waste in the production process and on the environment.
Companies waste can be used as a resource in another company, thus creating industry symbiosis and collaboration for sustained development.
